We
specialize in training Youth and Adult Amateur riding horses in
all disciplines. STTS will provide excellent starting services
for young prospects 2 1/2 years** of age and up. We start from
scratch in the round pen, introducing the bridle and long lines
before mounting. We encourage our youngsters to be relaxed and
to enjoy the training process so they strive to be an excellent
riding partner. We also work with older horses that need a refresher.
Whether you ride Dressage, Hunter/Jumper or Western Disciplines,
your horse will understand the riders seat and leg. Included in
our training: Clipping, Cross-Tie, Bathing, Loading, Hot Walker,
Trail Riding, Traffic and Farrier.
**Your
horse must be assessed for soundness and ability before entering
into a training program. Mobile assessment fee is $75 and lasts
about 90 minutes. You may also trailer in for an assessment, and
the fee is $55 for about 90 minutes. This is a requirement, and
your horse must be sound and able to receive training.
If your horse needs special care before training, Kim can consult
you on your horse. Things such as chiropractic needs, shoeing
and teeth may inhibit your horse from getting the most out of
the training that you pay for. Kim can give you some direction
on what your horse will need to enjoy its stay at STTS.

RIDING ACADEMY / WORKSHOPS
We provide excellent lessons in Horsemanship, Hunter/Jumper,
and Western disciplines such as Pleasure and Gymkhana. Our program
is designed around safety and disciplined fun! Learn how to be
one with your riding partner!!

Use your body language and be organized while longing on the
line.
- Choose the correct tack for your horse, including humane tacking
up procedures.
- Ride safely in the arena during group lessons, including etiquette
in the show ring.
- Ride safely on the trail, including etiquette on group trail
rides.
- Safely bathe and groom your horse, including clipping.
- Safely load/unload your horse into a trailer, including driving
practices for those who drive.
- Ride from a balanced seat and leg in all disciplines including
Hunter/Jumper, Western Pleasure, and Gymkhana.

and encourage our students to practice each lesson by giving them
homework in between lessons. This is now possible by leasing your

for each horse. If you are interested in helping out by providing

LEASING
INFORMATION
Our leasing program is a great way to experience horse ownership!
We recommend that our students lease a horse prior to purchasing
a horse to assure that they are up for the responsibility of owning
a horse.
All leases include board, feed, farrier, vet and other special
care. At least 1 lesson per week is required.
1/2 Lease ~ $325 per month (Includes up to 2 lessons per week!)

Monique:
Irish Sport Horse Mare, 16hh. This is a wonderful mare that
is very well broke and safe. She is suitable for beginners-advanced
riders and is suitable for low jumping and dressage up to
2nd level. Monique is an honest horse that loves company
and showing. She is a dream to ride, and we call her the
"cadillac" of the barn! MONIQUE IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

Navir:
Arabian Gelding, 15hh. Navir is an amazing little gelding
that has won the hearts of everyone that rides him. He is
suitable for all arena's, is great over fences, and easy
to ride. He has smooth gaits and really enjoys his company.

Tortuga:
Moriesian Mare, 15.1hh. Tuga is a fun mare that loves to
jump and do things. She is easy to ride and enjoys the trail.
Tuga has a ton of personality and really enjoys the teenagers.
She loves to show, and would love to find an amiable rider

Blue Sky: Andalusian
Gelding, 14.1hh. Blue is a wonderful horse that is so very
special. He has super smooth gaits and is great on the trail.
He is suitable for English Pleasure, Western Pleasure and

with Socks: AQHA gelding,
14.2hh. Lucky is one of the sweetest and most laid back
ponies ever. He is safe and gentle, and loves little people!
He as helped us with birthday parties and is a super star
at the shows. His 8 year old rider was Champion of the Walk-Trot
division on his back, and it was her very first show! Great
